Dr Crader created UKPsych so that she could treat her patients with respect, compassion, and honesty. She found in her training that patients were often treated poorly and kept in some of the worst conditions. It became her passion to create a new clinic with a new model of care. A place where the patients’ needs were put before the needs of the business. She started from the ground up: nice premises, new home-style furniture, the latest technology, free luxury snacks and drinks, therapy dogs, and extended appointments. After 2 years, we now know that this is a winning combination, and we have achieved the highest ratings of any psychiatric clinic in Tulsa. Everyone at UKPsych now goes to work every day knowing that we are changing lives, and changing Tulsa. We are excited to see what happens in the next two years. She is currently embracing Medical Marijuana as an adjunct tool for her patients, and has recently opened her first dispensary: UKHash!
Dr Crader graduated from the University of Colorado Medical School in Denver in the year 2012. She holds a BSc in Computer Science. She is (or has been) a member of Mensa, The British Computer Society, The American Medical Association, and The American Psychiatric Association. She believes that patience, rational observation, and detailed scientific notes enable her to make nearly all her patients better. She originates from the UK, but found the class and welfare systems to be too stifling for her entrepreneurial imagination. She proudly calls Tulsa her home and loves to spend weekends doing activities with her family. She is a huge fan of dogs and donates to canine charities every month.
